PRODUCTION AREA
Lombardy - upper Oltrepò in the municipality of Montalto Pavese at 390 m a.s.l.

VINEYARD
Pizzotorto vineyard. The particle is the n. 91 of 0.50 hectares planted with Pinot Noir 100% clone 829. North exposure with well-drained clayey-calcareous soils. The plants are trained in Gujot with 5200 vines/hectare.

HARVEST/VINIFICATION
The grapes are selected and harvested manually in 18Kg boxes in the first weeks of September, they are then crushed and destemmed and put into fermentation/maceration for about 8/10 days at a controlled temperature of 27°.

BOTTLING/AGING
After 12 months in tonneaux, it is bottled and aged for a further 12 months. It is consumed from the 3rd year after the harvest and if stored well it can last for over 15 years.

BOTTLE/PACKAGE
Heavy Burgundian, cork closure in horizontal box of 6 pieces. Magnum boxed in packs of 3.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS

Appearance: color pale ruby ​​red, typical of pinot noir.

Bouquet: decidedly fruity and floral, with a slight vinosity.

Palate: intense, soft and decisive, it brings us back to small berries, currants, blackberries and blueberries.

Service/ Pairings: it is served at a temperature of 16/18 °C combining it with game and braised meats, served cooler, 4/6 °C yes marries wonderfully with cold rice and fried fish.
